Brands love using the Multi-Step Click to Reveal widget (example) for their new product launches or special offers as it enables an scratch-off experience possible inside your email. Each click progressively unveils the subsequent image beneath the last layer, leading up to the final slide with your special offer.

Step 1: Create the Interactive Widget
Setting up the Multi-Step Click to Reveal widget is very simple. Just like any of our widgets, you select the widget from the left-side panel via the Add Element button. The widget comes with pre-loaded sample images. You can delete them to begin uploading your own design assets either via File Upload or URL.
For each slide, there should be at least one image slice.
- Slide 1 is what's displayed before any user interaction. It should be visually enticing and designed to encourage users to click on it.
- Slide 2, 3, 4... are what's shown after each subsequent click. They should be designed so that user is encouraged to click again until they reach the End Slide.
- End Slide is where you present your special offer. Remember to add the CTA or link to the offer.
Step 2: Add Fallback
For Fallback, we suggest using what you would otherwise use for a regular static email. It can be your last slide from your interactive experience, or what you would otherwise use for a regular static email.
Step 3: Test and Export Template to Klaviyo
Once you've set up your interactive widget and finalized your email design, you're ready to test and export it to use in your Klaviyo campaign or flow email.
