Setting up a product quiz is super easy with our Forms product. You can either Create Form from scratch or start from one of our templates.
Note: If you're embedding a product quiz on your website, you can have as many personalized recommendations (i.e. end pages) as you'd like, however if you're sending the quiz via email, we recommend having maximum 10 end pages due to email size limitations.
A quiz can have multiple pages, and a page can have multiple questions and elements. We recommend asking one question at a time (i.e. one question element on per page) for product quizzes to make sure recipients are not overwhelmed when they see the first page of your quiz in their email.
By default, each page sends people to Submit the form, so remember to specify which page you want to show next from the page you're currently setting up in Logic.
End Pages are the results pages you show your quiz takers when they submit the quiz. There should be at least one end page, and you can set up multiple end pages for people's different responses to the specific questions of the quiz. We show the Default end page when any of the rules you defined for the other end pages don't apply to quiz takers' responses.
In the Styles section, you can specify all styles of your quiz including buttons, question fields, descriptions, labels, etc.
In the Settings tab, you can create a Klaviyo event (that you can trigger a follow-up flow for your quiz takers), add quiz respondents to a specific Klaviyo list, and define whether you want to update people's Klaviyo Profiles with their quiz responses. Moreover, you can trigger a webhook on quiz submission.
Now that you've built your quiz, it's time to embed it in an email!
Just like any other our interactive widget, you can add the Custom Form by adding the Forms widgets from the Interactive Widgets section.
Note: If you've made any edits to the quiz after embedding it in your email, make sure to Refresh the quiz to make sure the most up-to-date version is used in the email template.
When creating an interactive email, you need to design a fallback experience for people whose email clients (e.g. Outlook, Hotmail) block interactive emails. And setting fallback experience is made super easy in Spellbound.
You can copy the Fallback URL from the Configure tab and paste it to a button or an image element that you'd use in a static email in the Fallback tab. With this link, your fallback email recipients will still be able to submit the same quiz just in their browser.
Once you've set up your product quiz and designed your email, you can test and export your email template to use in a campaign or a flow.
